3. Document Handling & Storage
Zero Repository Policy
Originex follows a strict zero repository policy. This means:
- Your uploaded documents are never stored in any permanent database
- Documents are processed in temporary memory only during analysis
- All document data is permanently deleted immediately after the plagiarism check is complete
- We do not maintain any archive or repository of submitted documents
Processing Timeline
Document lifecycle:
- Upload: Document is encrypted during transmission
- Processing: Document is analyzed in secure, temporary memory
- Report Generation: Results are compiled and displayed to you
- Deletion: Original document is permanently erased from all systems
Report Storage
While your original document is deleted, you can choose to save your plagiarism report:
- Reports are stored in your account for 30 days by default
- You can download reports as PDF or CSV for permanent storage
- You can manually delete reports from your account at any time
- After 30 days, reports are automatically deleted unless you choose to extend storage
